My Story: From Word to Colour

I've always loved great writers. And even the quiet, lesser-known ones who could spark my imagination and draw me into their world.

But painters... painters captured my heart. I used to pause breathless in front of their work, even in books or online. Their art felt like magic - like they were born with a gift of catching a moment of time, light or emotion and leaving it behind for us to feel.

When I started painting, I just wanted to learn how to copy. Then, I wanted to bring out the landscapes I carried inside me. And slowly, I started trying to say something with colour - something silent, something real.

There's something unreal about disappearing into the quiet while a painting is born. I only hope that something personal in my work might touch someone else.

What about you - how do paintings speak to you?
